Рига, 1910-1920-е гг. — 4х8х1,5 см.

Двучастная пачка: короб и крышка (пустая, открыта). Небольшие загрязнения. Сохранена акцизная марка (небольшие утраты, разводы).

Пачка от сигарет рижской табачной фирмы, принадлежавшей караимскому роду Майкапаров. Табачная фирма Майкапаров была основана Абрамом Майкапаром в 1887 г. в Риге. По одним сведениям, А. Майкапар прибыл в Ригу из Крыма. Был женат на Сарре Габай, дочери известного табачного фабриканта, одного из первых караимских поселенцев в Москве. Фабрика ее отца носила имя владельца — «Габай». После революции и поныне это фабрика «Ява». Сын Абрама и Сарры – Самуил – также был крупным табачным фабрикантом, продолжив дело семьи. Был репрессирован в 1941 г.
