Гугум, медный сосуд для воды.

[1943]. — 53 см (высота), 29 см (диаметр дна). — Медь, лужение. Орнамент. Клеймо мастера, вписано в орнамент: "1943 / RНИДИ".

Следы окисления металла. Небольшая фрагментарная деформация. Загрязнения.

Гугум, крымско-татарский предмет обихода, медный сосуд для воды, сделанный греческим мастером Яниди, проживавшим в Карасубазаре (ныне г. Белогорск). Яниди стал известен в начале XX в., благодаря своим медным гугумам: если комплект посуды приобретала невеста, то именно для нее гугум был бесплатным — в качестве свадебного подарка от самого Яниди. Клеймо датирует работу 1943 г.; уже в 1944 г. была развернута кампания по депортации крымских татар.
