Пантелеймон Сергеевич Романов (1884-1938), прозаик и драматург, после революции остался в СССР, описывал в своем творчестве советский быт в мягком ироничном ключе. После смерти писателя, начиная с 1940 г. и до начала перестройки, его книги не печатались.
