Казань, 21 сентября 1914. — [4] л., [6] л. пустых; 34,5х2 см (листы), 38х24,5 см (папка).


Письмо вложено в цельнокожаную папку с металлическими накладками. Гравировки на накладках: "19 21/IX 14"; "МХ"; "Глубокоуважаемому Профессору Михаилу Михайловичу Хвостову от признательных слушательниц Высших Женских Курсов г. Казани". Внутри папки несколько отделений.

Письмо за подписями 325 слушательниц курсов. Михаил Михайлович Хвостов (1872- 1920) – историк, профессор Императорского Казанского университета. Принимал участие в открытии Казанских высших женских курсов в 1906 г. В 1906-1908 гг. — помощник директора Казанских высших женских курсов, с 1916 г. — директор.
