В двух составных переплетах. Боковые крапленые обрезы. Небольшие потертости переплетов, выгорание корешков, в т. 2 надрыв ткани задней переплетной крышки. Блоки чистые. На форзацах затерты экслибрисы и ярлыки с номерами книг в библиотеке. На корешках инициальные суперэкслибрисы: "C.C.". Хорошая сохранность.

Фундаментальный труд о жизни и царствовании императора Александра II, подготовленный известным дипломатом, историком и публицистом Сергеем Спиридоновичем Татищевым (1846-1906).
