Издано без титульного листа. Содержит покадровую разбивку киносценария с описанием диалогов, действий, места съёмки, плана и секунд кинометража. Издание предназначалось для участников съёмок.
Фильм по мотивам книги В. Некрасова «В окопах Сталинграда» в ходе съёмок был переименован в «Солдаты». После репрессии и эмиграции Виктора Некрасова фильм был предан забвению влоть до 1991 года. Сценарий фильма значительно отличается от литературной первоосновы.
