Лист сложен не совсем ровно, потертости, небольшие надрывы в местах сложения, бледные разводы по нижнему полю, владельческая надпись на с.1 (обложка).

Подписано к печати 23/V 1944 г. В Чебоксарах в 1944 г. вышло сразу четыре издания басен Крылова (каждое издание имело свой набор басен). Настоящее издание содержит: Волк и журавль, Синица, Свинья под дубом, Квартет.

Редкое провинциальное издание военного времени. Нет в «Книга сражается».
