В издательской шрифтовой обложке. Обложка отделена от блока. Корешок немного истерт. На верхней обложке "лисьи" пятна. Блок расколот, есть "лисьи" пятна, следы заливания, на стр. 78 утрата небольшого фрагмента страницы.

Александр Павлович Буров (наст. Бурд-Восходов) (1876-1967) — писатель, драматург. А. Буров был отмечен в начале своей художественной деятельности И.А.Буниным, который предсказал ему большой успех в литературе. Кроме Бунина о произведениях Бурова одобрительно отзывались также Адамович, Амфитеатров и др.
