Сгибы, надрывы.

Письмо написано во время отдыха поэта в Крыму. В нем поэт делится своими мыслями по поводу поэта Шефнера, ходом своей текущей работы над переводами и пр.
Особенно интересно следующее предложение: «Встретил я здесь несколько молодых поэтов — здешних и киевских и меня удивила и неприятно поразило их отрицательное, даже неприязненное отношение в Твардовскому».
Письмо адресовано репрессированному критику, историку литературы Македонову Адриану Владимировичу (1909-1994). Долгое время Македонова связывала тесная дружба с Александром Твардовским.
«Надеюсь, что Крым оживит меня».
